I'll go with the rediculously low educated guess of 16". This is the standard distance between joists, studs and rafters. The last being those that hold up your roof. Something tells me this does not hold true on The Rockpile. Out of curiosity, does anyone know what is the distance between rafters up there?

I believe it is arms length. That way those guys can swing from them when they have nothing to do.
