Great time to get some cool eclipse shots with MW in the foreground!

Can't wait! Hope for clear skies and mild temps and wind. I'll post if I get anything.

Just a reminder that the eclipse is tomorrow night. The moon was bright tonight in Portsmouth

I have my spot figured out. Just need to keep the clouds away.

    Default Lunar Eclipse!

Should be a good night weather wise. I will be at the top of Pico Mountain after a nice skin up. Anyone watching from any special locations???

We shall see how clear it is for us in Florida. Supposed to have clouds moving in late in the day but hopefully they will dissipate by then.

I moved the lake camera to view the moon coming up. Plus, I changed the upload image interval to be every 30 seconds. things were going fine till the clouds started coming in. not sure what we will capture - maybe nothing.

    The images go to
    http://public.fotki.com/bradbradstre...mera/lakeview/

The camera itself is at http://longlake.homeip.net:8003

Here is one image as a sample.

My target location is off the road at Lake Jordan just south of Chapel Hill, NC. There is a fishing pier looking out to the south and east over the lake.

Plus, I will be watching the web camera in Maine to see what is happening there.
