Were you in a glider? We were in the area that weekend and saw several over the Presidentials.I especially like the one where you can see people on the deck. Were the shots handheld? Did you shoot through glass or did you have an open window? What was the temp at 8500'? NICE JOB!

I saw the gliders they were flying out of Gorham Airport.

Yes, handheld Nikon F4 with manual 105mm lens through the window.

It was a warm weekend.

The flight from Gorham over to Bethel ME along the river was spectacular!

i love those pictures, they really show the scope and granduer (sp) of the mountains
