I found this older image I took at Bond Cliff, back before digital. I'm working on a publishing a book and I keep dwelling on summer images!

August 1st 2001 - up Lions Head, summit and down Tuckermans Headwall.

Snow at the base of the headwall - about 5 feet thick and 50-60 feet long.

TimandVal, very nice! Yes, that's rhodora. The other two are diapensia(white) and lapland rosebay (purple).

Brad, that's a classic image of the last remaining snow at the base of the headwall. Gives me goosebumps.

Forestgnome, if you are publishing a book, I'm def. buying it. Perhaps and autographed copy....
