Default Record high Temperature for November 12th?

Jim's comment this morning said the record high for november 12th was 43 degrees. As of the 4:30 PM Conditions image the temperature reading got to 44 degrees. Did we break today's record high?

    Default Perhaps...

For station consistancy, there are only two instruments that can record a record, and both are actual mercury thermometers, with no digital readout. So despite what the current conditions page says, it's inconclusive data.

Depending on the location, the amount of shielding and sensitivity of the sensor that reads out to the website, it may be slightly incorrect.

I'm sure they will let us know later today or tomorrow...

The Morning Report says the summit hit 44 degrees yesterday and it is a new record for daily high for November 12th.

There is a chance for a new record today also. The high temperature for November 13th is 44 degrees. Here is the Morning Report for the current day - http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/summit.php

The record new record of 44 degrees was indeed broken last night at the 7PM Synoptic Observation.

We will post about it in the comments mid-morning today.
