Talking Big enough for couple ski turns

That wasn't just alittle snow. Almost Aug. and still that much. I think from what I saw it is still an arch over the brook underneath. Should have had my skis and I could have been summer skiing. Just would have to be careful of the drop at the end..........

One word, one number: August 2006!

    Wish I had photos.

Charlie...sorry we didn't get to meet. The weekend/hike/party went by so fast and I missed quite a few people. Next year.

This may be the final list

    MeridanFF - 7/4
    eDog2007 - 7/15

we know the arch was there on 7/20

    mtruman - 7/26
    Great Guinness Ghost - 7/28
    njgirl11 - 7/30
    KD Talbot - 7/31
    WSR88D - 8/1
    DangerGirl - 8/2
    Brad - 8/5

Most likely Mark Truman was the winner of this flakey contest. If there was that much of the arch still standing on 7/20, then it would have been there for at least 1 more day making Mark the winner. Congratulations - you get to climb Mt Washington next year for STP and see if the arch is still there.

Next year its going to be last snow, no arch falling debacle. Final entry date should be the last day of April or May.

How about last entry date of end of February?

Flakey contest indeed!!! Winning the contest was the easy part (only off by 6 days). Here's a shot of me claiming the trophy. Getting it home proved to be a bit harder since we left our cooler at home...
