    Default Mountain Quiz #1

Kevin's flower quiz is hard. After you take a stab at his photos take a guess at these.

Kevin's rules apply. One guess per person per day. Rule number two doesn't apply since it was aimed at me.

#6) Not easy, but if you can guess the city you can find the name of the mountain on the right

    #7) Tropical, but fairly iconic

#8 & #9) Double bonus round, nail these two and you're a bigger mountain geek than myself

#1 is Mount Mansfield in VT, right?
"LIVE FREE OR DIE...DEATH IS NOT THE WORST OF ALL EVILS." Gen. John Stark. "by reason of much foule weather and Extreme Bad Woods to travel in..." From the letter of my Great Uncle, Samuel Willard (accompanied by my grandfather Henry), to Governor Dummer on August 16, 1725, explaining the reason for his return, being instructed to "range all the country", of the Wawobadenik (White Mountains) July 19-August 16, 1725. I am a 13th generation New Englander and proud of it.

#3 sure looks like the summit of Mt Washington from Crawford Path after leaving Lakes of the Clouds.
