#5 looks like Everest from the Tibet side.

    #1) Mount Mansfield, Vermont

#3) Mount Washington, New Hampshire (From Lion Head Trail / Alpine Garden)

#4) Mount Katahdin, Knife Edge Ridge, Maine

#5) Mount Everest, Nepal (From a highpoint above the Nepal basecamp)

#6) Hong Kong, China is close enough as there are probably a thousand names for that peak

#7) Mount Otemanu, Bora Bora, French Polynesia

Brad's got the right answers, but from the wrong angles.

If you get just one of the mountains in 8 & 9 I'll reveal the other.

Looks like one of them in #8-9 is K2.

Sorry, not K2. Although I do see some resemblance.

I'll give a hint that its in Nepal and visible from the Everest Basecamp trekking route.

#2 could be confused for a mountain of the same name in New Hampshire, but this peak is in Washington.

#8 (the mountain on the left) is part of the Everest Massif.

I'll put this thread to rest. The peak on the left is Lhotse, the 4th highest mountain in the world. It is connected to Mount Everest via the infamous South Col. The peak on the right is Ama Dablam.
