Took a trip to Wildcat on the 12th:
Then to Rangeley on the 18th through 20th:
Was surprised to find this despite there being 2-3 feet of snow covering everything.

Were you guys camping out or do you have a place to stay up there? GREAT PICTURES!Originally Posted by KD Talbot
Our BIL's father bought a camp on Mooselookmeguntic for $14000 in 1970. It's pretty much still a camp, though it has heat, electric and plumbing. Worth about a 1/2 a million now. Mooselook is roughly the same size as Winnepesaukee. We were there for 4th of July a few years ago, there were 6 other boats on the lake.
There are awesome places to camp including Rangeley Lake State Park and remote campsites you have to reach by boat on Mooselook. There are numerous lakeside cabins in the area to rent.
The AT goes through Rangeley, over Saddleback and to the remote half of the Maine 4k's.
We love it there.
