There is, but its not statistically significant. Daily high and low temperatures are rounded to the nearest whole degree.

When this was originally posted, the low temp for the month was already 12 degrees on May 1st. When you look back at May 2007's F-6 you see the coldest day of the month was May 1st and it got 10 degrees warmer (as the low temp of the day) by the time you got to the end of the month. The chances of it going lower than 12 degrees this month is slim to none.

I concur. I wasn't cheating, I was just using all my sources. If this was November it would be a different story, but given the time frame maybe a high temperature contest would have been more appropriate. Oh well, maybe next month.

As we all expected, Bill O was right and is the winner of this one. Although if it hadn't been for that 12 degrees on the first day of May I would have been really close with my 15 degree guess. Oh well, thats how it goes.
