    Default Forums Upgrade

    When: Monday, 9 June 2008
    Window: 8:30AM to Noon
    Duration: 1 hour

    We will be upgrading the forum software during the above window. The forums will be unavailable during this process so as to ensure the integrity of the database.

    There appear to be more message marking options (the images that appear in the corner of each post) as well as private message organization. The spam filtering features are what I'm interested in. Even though you never see the spam because of our first-post moderation rule, removing the hundreds of spam posts each day is a nuisance for moderators and delays the approval of legitimate new users.
