    Default Amundsen-Scott South Pole webcam

I didn't know a new station was built (I don't follow the South Pole "scene" hahaha) (Dedicated on Dec 12, 2007)

Here's a sharp photo of the new station

My interest comes and goes with the South Pole station.

Its the ultimate extreme and very cold, but their webcam is so boring.

Its basically off for six months. One sunrise and sunset a year and very little visible weather to watch. And no time lapses.

Thanks for sharing. I like that high resolution shot of the new station.

    Default SP Station

Come on, that's one of Kurt's doctored photos of the Sherman Adams Building. There's the OB's Tower on the left!

Wow! You're right, I never knew the South Pole had such a vista...

Gee, I did not know that the MWO tower and buildings were down in the valley - and the tallest peak in the northeast was next to some taller mountains. I must have been out of touch when those mountains grew up - over night.

    Default Valley

See what happens when you spend so much time in NC? You lose touch! I don't know which picture is doctored anymore?

You have to watch out for those spy characters. Can never tell what is real or not.

    Thumbs up

Ah, these pics finally explain the lyrics to the song Roundabout by Yes.

"Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there"

Oops. Why, is it not working? Works for me here and at my office. Anyone else get a red x?
