Need advice on Dogs on STP..

hi... I signed up for STP.. i have received some responses on this but wanted to create a new thread... i plan to bring my dog with me.. i am driving up from northern NJ.. and basically if i dont take the dog i will get flack from the home front for leaving him alone.. so... whats the best place to stay? i will get up really late on friday so hotel would be best.. saturday camping is ok.. what trail is best and "easiest".. etc... thanks i appreciate the input..

its VERY dog friendly....the owners are great....and if you dont feel like your dog is up for the hike they will watch him while you hike!(including walking him)....im not really sure about the cottages as we rent the house....its a bit of a drive (approx 20 minutes) from the mountain but we dont really mind....(husband is looking at a total hip replacement and camping is out for him)....check out the website and at the very least its another option for you....
