I win 1st place. When the contests started several years ago they were a big deal. Then the 1st place finisher got an extra free year on Fotki. I don't think that happens now.

well from the spot of your picture to the end you have the highest votes ,i did not see the ones before

Charlie, when looking at the thumbnails of all the contest entries there is a Sort option at the upper right. Select "Overall Score"and they will be in order by ranking at that time.

I know the image is dark but that is what the day was like. The sun came out - I drove to the town beach - and by the time I took the picture the sun had faded back behind some clouds.
