Seek Nature month 2009
How about we designate a month - like April - as "Nature Month 2009"? As we do activities lets post pictures, give reports, and share in the beauty we see. Use our MWO memberships to visit zoos where we live. Visit nature centers. Share experiences with our kids.
How about it? What are you up to?

It seems that a lot of us do that on a regular basis. Like KD...he seeks nature almost every weekend.Can we have the month off of work for this too??

Our schools do this with the kids for the couple weeks before Earth day. They take them for local hikes and our Fourth graders go up Pack Monadnock. I'd be up for a month off to just hike and be outside. April is good, before black fly season.

Perhaps it might be better to designate a 3-day weekend each month. Nature is everything, even those damn black flies. Designating just one month would have you miss out on at least 2 seasons and most likely 3.
