Thanks for the maps, directions, etc.. I did lots of searches but didn't find much.

Yes, I would hike from Pinkham, and its still an option. I picked Jewel since its the "easiest" and i will have a dog with me and i am not in the best shape i would have liked to have been.

I am staying at Moose Brook. So, based on your feedback, I think it would be best for me to drop off/register Friday night, thus Skipping Pinkham stop, or hiking Pinkham. I thought Friday didnt work as I plan to get up to NH in the afternoon and didnt want to drive back to N. Conway then back to Moose Brook.

I know this is not really following the rules. But my schedule is such I can not make it to the Friday event. So, I am making sure donations have been sent in and the forms sent before I head north. I have made arrangements for a person to pick up my goodie bag for me on Friday. Last year I got it at the dinner tent itself. So, there are ways of working things out without having to drive the extra miles.

Just some added thoughts for your scheduling.
