intro from mom and daughter

Greetings,

I've been lurking for some time and have finally registered!

My name is Trish, and my daughter Alex and I began our peakbagging adventures this summer. We've done four and will keep doing 2-4 a month until we've bagged them all. We're summer hikers, and we take a loooong time (Alex is 5), so this'll probably take a while! Despite her age, Alex is a very strong and enthusiastic hiker. I look forward to continuing to glean info from you nice folks, and perhaps we'll meet on the trails some day? If we do meet, Alex will surely chat you up for as long as you'll listen.

(I carry a large pack full of emergency gear and appropriate clothing, and I pay careful attention to the weather. Just thought I'd put that out there since I'm hiking with a child).

No, I only pack Powerbars. My mama paranoia is such that I don't want to pack anything aromatic that might attract bears. Yes, I know, a silly thing to worry about. However, since my kid's with me, I tend to overdo it on the what-if scenarios, lol.

My finest memories of being a child would
be hiking with my Mom and Dad!!
I can still remember Mt. Chocorua when I was around age 3 or 4.
Now not a kid I still Love to Hike today!
