Well, we made it! The weather wasn't the greatest, but it was still really beautiful.

We started on Ammo, and the first 45 minutes were great....as you will see once we left gem pool my camera took a break until we got to the hut at the lake. All I can say is that we, all of us, really underestimated the ascent. We thought we would be on trails for the majority of the time, and those quickly disappeared. We it started getting crowded (people on their descent), we broke off into two groups, and myself and another got to the summit in 3.5 hours, and the other two got there in 4. We spent about 60 minutes at the summit where we made some lunch, and then bundled up and headed down Jewell. We had a great descent, and moved at a much slower pace sticking together the entire time. We met a couple of Boston girls on their way to Mt Washington, and saw about 2-3 other couples heading down the mountain.
All in all it was a great trip.....we are already looking forward to our next hike!
Thanks to everyone that gave their advice!
