    When will the Building be open to the public?

    as soon as it opens I'm drivin' up from CT for a hike!

    You may want to check the State of New Hampshire's website
    http://www.nhstateparks.org/ParksPag...sh/MtWash.html and inquire there. The state owns the building where the MWO is located.

    The Mount Washington Auto Road, reports on their website that the road is open to treeline.

    As stated on the MWO homepage, the buildings are now open to the public, but the summit is under a bunch of snow.
