Nice to meet both of you storygirll and billysinc! You certainly had a trip with great weather...
I too share your addictions to the Whites, and this mountain in particular. I also find it very enriching to mingle with like minded folks, and hear stories what draws folks to this peak...
Bill, I saw your pics. Fantastic...and your shot of the avalanche path is really impressive doccumentation! Please submits your favorite to the photojournal and I will post it...
Also, I saw you photographed the Air quality contraption. It is part of a joint research project with UNH to measure particulate pollution on the peak. The hose is hooked up to a vaccume which brings outside air through a filter which is changed manually daily.
Again, great to meet you both, and glad you had a good time!

Hey Storygirll, great cookies, good luck with your girls.
Bill, I'd say we appreciate some of the angles/viewpoints...
You had some great shots by the way.
Storygirll, the cookies were knockout, good luck with your girls.
To the volonteers, staff, Peter - thank you very much...what a trip, and I'll see you in January.
Nice shots, Pete! Especially love the Harebells. Isn't the shadow of the mountain a cool thing at sunrise?
Hey Pete you'd almost think we were on the same trip. lol
