Default Mt Chocorua Sept 8th, 2008

I decided to stop at the Lake Chocorua bridge today and catch some pics of this mountain I see everyday and never get tired of I stopped about 1:15pm on the way to Conway, then decided I would try and catch a sunset on the way home about 6:30pm. I thought I would share them with you!!

    Awwww Shucks Thanks everyone.

I thought it was pretty neat how my camera actually has 3 little squares at the bottom of the panorama option, and after you take the first picture, it keeps a part of it on the screen so you can actually line it up with where the last picture left off to where the next begins. Can't wait til I start seeing animals!!

We do fish that lake, and the only thing ever caught, was an 80lb dog fish that thought Joe's bobber was her personal play toy LOL

    Thumbs up

Cool pics. We used to swim there all the time before they limited it to Tamworth residents. Great lake for a family. So shallow. There's a rockpile out in the middle that's just below the waterline, so you can go out there and look like you're walking on water.

That sounds neat, now if Joe reads this I know he will try to find that rock pile LOL. Only one spot of the lake is for Tamworth residents only, the other 2 turn offs are for everyone, and you can turn onto Lake Chocorua Road and there is a little beach there too.

I didn't know there was only one area restricted. Good news. I must have seen the one area and assumed it was for the whole lake. Mea culpa.

The rock pile was towards the mountain end off that last beach, maybe 300 yards out, if I remember correctly. I was maybe 13 or 14 when I found it whilst floating around in a raft. So many moons ago.
