It is clearly a picture of Bigfoot's foot imprint. Just that this was taken from the woods side of the view - not where SpyBoy was standing when he took the series of his stills.

Sparing you a thermodynamics lesson, basically a cloud made of liquid was seeded with ice crystals in a below freezing environment. The vapor pressor over ice is greater than that of over water, and the ice crystal propogation is exponential at the expense of the water. The rapid expansion of glaciation causes the hole in the cloud look.

And yes...the propagation could have begun with an aeroplane...
