I see the summit is reporting FU....is that METAR for smoke?

Is that smoke from the Cog....which I see in the webcams right now? I've never seen so much, must be the light winds.

Also, check out the noon image on the deck cam. Everyone is lined up along the railing watching something.

The Cog has been running extra trains on the hourly runs for days. Leaf peepers are out in force!

The Auto road was open as far as treeline for most of the last week, so tourist demand for reaching the summit has been way up there!

Looks like a GREAT day to be up there!

That is smoke from the cog running between Lakes of the Clouds and the summit. Seems to be a new spur for them.
