Hi,
Thanks for posting, you have some very nice stuff. I look forward to more, especially if you take any trips over to our neck of the woods. It'd be nice to see you impart your style on our beloved White Mountains.
I see you converted a camera to infrared. Who did you go through to do that???
Best,
Jim

Thanks Jim... normally we do get up that way once a year on our way to Old Orchard Beach... but this year was the year of no vacation away from home... so it will probably be next season before I get up that way...
I have three IR converted cameras currently... each by different converting companies... my G7 was set up full spectrum (clear glass) by Mountain Banyan Camera, the XTi is an enhanced IR (650nm) conversion done by Lifepixel and I have a XT done with a regular conversion (720nm...this one though is closer to 750nm so it seems) from MaxMax...
They all do such different effects (aside from putting comparable filtering on the G7) that I decided to keep all three... when I am travelling on the motorcycle and want IR I tend to take the G7 with a pack of filters...
