Hello from a new member

Hi everyone,

I just found out about the Forum section here on MWOBS and had to join. Like many of you I've grown up in New England and try to get up into the mountins when ever I can. We were lucky enough to get up to the summit this past Sunday morning and what a treat! 120+ mile visibility with views from the Adirondacks to the Atlantic. We could even make out a ship some where off the coast of Maine. If the direct link works it should be here...

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your visit with us here. GREAT photos. You really caught great conditions and great light. I particularly like the shot of the valleys to the SW, a nice isolated perspective captured in great light.

If you can see that boat soo clearly in the Atlantic (awesome shot by the way!, and welcome!), why can't Mt. Washington be seen from Cadillac Mtn. in Acadia? Or can it, and I just happened to be there on a not clear enough day.

Is the boat suppose to be in this picture? Can someone please point it out? I can't even tell where the ocean is suppose to be.
