OBS cast

i have my volume up all the way and with this weeks obs cast when it started the sound was good but when it went on it was very low and hard to hear

is this some thing they are doing like the mic to far from there mouth ????

I went through and adjusted the sound in Brians obscast. I guess I should have gone through secondary post production before posting. I have down played the highs by two and increased the lows four to five. I think it is more even now. If you still have problems, it will have to wait until next shift unless I can get the upcoming shift to do something. I am guessing laptop speakers might have been the problem if you couldn't hear a single thing because on full blast on our computer speaker, I could make out a bit of audio. Not passing blame, just looking for answers. But try again and let me know.

the sound on my laptop is pretty good but some times the obs sounds low
if it happens again i will have to try a different computer

It looks like there are close to 100 Obscasts on the website now. A great collection of videos.

But unless you have a really good memory or plenty of time on your hands that library is virtually useless. Dates are good, but titles and descriptions are far more useful. That way, members can search for their favorite video instead of guessing when it was approximately posted.

We have been trying to get titles or something posted cause even we have trouble remembering. We have a list of titles but it is a matter of getting the right people involved to get titles in place. At one point we were talking about thumbnails with title, description, date and run time but nothing came about. But, with the new site upgrades, maybe we could get something going finally. I will bring it up unless Scot or someone in the valley sees this before next weds.

A temporary solution could be a pdf or text file with a title, description and date key.

Either way, it has grown into a large job. But it's a great asset the Obs has and it would be nice if it was more accessible.
