Both seem silly. Look at a place like Alta. Twice as much snow (if they got half as much as the east coast it would still be better because they don't get rain wipeouts in January). Cheaper lift tickets. Orders of magnitude more skiable terrain and likewise in the reverse for crowds. 99.7% fewer people wearing jeans as well.
Forgot to mention that its sunnier and warmer.

I was up there today. I just got some new boots & bindings, so I was tweaking the adjustments between runs. First day is always the hardest (actually tomorrow morning getting out of bed will be difficult), so I just took it easy and worked on adjusting my new gear.

(yes, I called it a "ski trip" even though I snowboard)
Thanks for a road tour of the Whites. It is interesting to see it snowing at the higher elevations.

Is there really any BAD weather???
Thanks for the "ski trip" Spyboy. Jealous, wont get up there, till after the holidays.
Brad, in the 80's, you were cool if you skied in jeans! Dumb and cold, but soooo cool. lol
