In Memory Of Brad Wasburn 1910-2007
It has been almost two years now since the legendary mountanier and photographer, who became such an integral part of the White Mountains, passed away at 96. This man, who I had the priveledge of meeting, was a generous man with a free spirit, and even seemed youthful in his last years. He was one of the greats , and his memory will live on in the hearts and souls of all of us who love the White Mountains. I would bet that he is climbing some mountain in the sky.

Funny you should mention him
I just started reading "Washburn: Extraordinary Adventures of a Young Mountaineer" which consists of stories he wrote and sold to GP Putmam's Boys Books for Boys. He had done more by the time he was 20 than most do in a lifetime. Fascinating guy!
