    I have been in the past. Not much use to me now. If you're climbing mountains over seas the insurance seems like a great deal.

    The "Accidents in North America Mountaineering" is great to read, but I've never been a fan of the journal. Too many elitist stories about obscure 6,000 meter peaks in central China that I or nobody else will ever climb again.

    You get hut discounts in CO, not much help for me though.
