I used to ski there as a kid, and no it wasn't with wooden skis.![]()
Did you ever ski over in Ossipee? (I love how the McD's has a chairlift coming down into the parking lot)
What about the mountain over in Tilton?
K
No but I used to ski at the town slope in Lincoln off Pollard Rd.

As a wee lad I skied at Mount Whittier in Ossipee. I don't remember much about it except that I didn't ride the gondolas across the road. I don't think I went to the top of the mountain, either. I think those gondolas were the only way to the top.

We spent a "timeshare weekend" and Mittersill in the 80's before they closed. One of the worst experiences we've ever had. Glad to hear that others have fond experiences and that it's going to be a nice new place again...

and break clear away, once in awhile,
and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods.
