Default I got a little question

Hello there, i will introduce myself quickly. My name is David I'm 19 years old and I'm from Quebec, Canada. I'm a french speaking person so my english isn't really good as you can see...

I hike with 2 friends at Mt Washington summit twice... first time October 2008, and last time January 5th 2009. I got a question for tthe next time we're gonna try to go up there.

Last time I realise there was an (don't know what's the real word for this) electric outlet at the summit where is the chalet (closed for the season). I know it's hard to understand what I'm trying to ask and whick place I'm trying to tell you, but there's a little picture of where I'm trying to situate you.

At the completly right of the picture, there is a little bench and I see next to it that there was an electric outlet. I want to know if the electric outlet is working in winter and if we could use it or not ?

    Thanks for the answer...

I know what you are talking about, but I have no idea if the outlet works in the winter. I would assume that it is not active during the winter.

What were you planning on using it for?

Forget the toaster, bring one of those massaging chairs with built in heated seat and calf massager from the Brookstone stores.

Well, you just answered a different question. You can't sleep up there to watch the sunrise.

You cannot camp in the Mount Washington State park...ever. Which is basically the summit cone. You cannot camp in the Cutler River Drainage. If you want to camp above treeline it is allowed where there is 2 feet of snow and not in the State Park or in the Cutler River Drainage.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I have no other way to ask. What made you think you could camp right outside the front door of the state park building? Is it a lack of information in French? The vast majority of people who are found illegally camping on Mount Washington tend to not speak fluent English.
