First Connecticut Lake hit -31F. The coldest from the NE that I could find was -38 at Big Black River, ME, in Aroostook Co., although I don't think there's a population center nearby. Coldest from a populated place seems to be -33 at Allagash, ME.

Coldest overall was -47 at Garrison, ND.

Well it was forecast to get to -19 tonight. As of 2:15am it is -27 in Tamworth, NH!!!

Berlin and Whitefield are both sitting at -36. I bet a few colder valleys up near Pittsburg are below -40.

All this while the mountain sits at a balmy -26.

Concord broke it's daily record at -20...but it warms up quickly south of there...Manchester is -9

I am one of the warm spots in the state at -6!

We hit -22 in VT, but it has since warmed up. SLK only got to -26.

Brad, what is the temp on the lake in Maine? I tried to view the dock cam but it seems to be off line.

We woke up at 7:30am and our temp sensor read -32. I was supposed to leave for the Dr by 9am, and here it is 9:30 and neither vehicle will start. I think our temp sensor is reading the wind chill as well. Weather.com says it is -15 with a feel of -30.

Our internet connection has been down for a while. It seems to be back running again. we hit -29 F here this morning.
