Thanks Brad and Mark. Nope the flash did not scare them at all in fact I ended up moving my chair about 6 feet away and just stayed still for about 10 minutes and they just kept coming back. It was great.

Great shots Chris! Also amazed that the flash didn't chase him off (and glad it didn't). The one of the goldfinch is great too. They're all getting back to their summer colors now.
