I went out looking where I know there are some Eagles nesting but I did not see any but I see a couple of Ospreys here are a few shots.

Awesome pics everyone! I had a rare opportunity to photograph a baby Great Horned Owl in St. Andrews Stat Park yesterday here in North Florida. It had fallen out of it's nest in the camping area. Enjoy!

Chris and Steve - the osprey and owl photos are fantastic! Love the ones of the ospreys taking flight. The closeup of the owl staring straight into the lens is just amazing - what an expression!

As of the time we left the campsite he had not made it back in the nest. Florida Wildlife Management was trying to help him. He is still too young to fly. I was amazed because he is huge.

Yes, I am too young to fly also. Am still working on it though.

Chris, nice job with the ospreys. I'm hoping to get some nice osprey pics this year. Not easy.

Steve, awesome pics of the baby owlet. You did very well with a rare opportunity. I love the eyes. I hope they are able to help along until it's strong enough to be on its' own. Great portraits!

    happy trails
