I sure will. Normally I end up having to take Corey north. I post my status on Facebook that I am going north and Corey's wife calls me - "take him!" And he comes along.

Yep. ;-) It appears that I need to make the trip at least once a month (based on past performance).

I think that I am feeling hikers remorse for not going up top on Adams. How do I know this? Well, I started researching good boots. We met a fellow on Kearsarge who absolutely raved about his boots and they're now sitting on my Google Shopping "wish list". Before I plunk money down .. does anyone want to put forth their opinion/experience on "LA SPORTIVA Men's Spantik Mountaineering Boots"?? They are the brand this gentleman was wearing and seem to get a lot of positive buzz online, but I'd prefer to hear from someone on this board.

Looks like Brad is going to have less "lonely trips North" from now on

Wow... they ARE expensive, even at the sale price on EMS...

Default I'm wearing these this year

Noticed the State Park people all wear these on MW. Good boot, but I'm not sure I'd wear them on an extended hike above tree-line, just an up and down. They've been fine so far. If you get them order a 1/2 size over as they tend to be smaller than the american sizes.
