Alaska Volcano

If a volcano erupts in the fog and nobody can see it does anybody care? Apparently not. With bad weather and relatively poor images of the eruption this volcano is turning out to be quite a dud.

It's too bad it wasn't clear for the big blasts. Hopefully we'll get to see some more action.

Just think, all of those crater glaciers formed within the last twenty years.

They seem to be switching to a zoomed in image every once in a while for the hut camera.

Several evenings I have seen a light from near the summit of the mountain. This image is the first one to really show a glow.
