There are a few technical climbers here, but mostly we're just enthusiasts that can barely drag our as_es up in good weather. I hope you find someone. One thing we all require here are trip reports and photos. Especially photos!

Thankfully, I talked my wife into an ascent.
She has done this before and is a good sport.
I was looking to get back to HoJo's early tomorrow for sunrise pictures on the headwall. But, it seems the windchill will be a bit lower than I need. I will find a different time. Have a good time. Saturday and Sunday should be warmer.

These folks need our prayers and good vibes. Forestgnome can tell us a little more if he gets a chance, his wife was on one of the ambulances:

The last paragraph of the article said:
Joosen advised hikers and skiers to check tuckerman.org for weather and condition reports before setting out. Yesterday's report warned: "The main safety concern today is the potential for long sliding falls due to the hard icy snow conditions."

Yes, this weekend had two accidents. We were hiking up when the snow cat drove by with one casualty. We also spoke to several people who witnessed first hand the fall in Huntington. One eye-witness was a first responder, while the other had helped the guy rappel down over the bulge on Central Gulley. The victim then proceeded to try and glissade down. Not a wise decision and we all hope he recovers okay.
