    Default Signs of Spring

A gang of robins has invaded our yard, green noses are poking up from the ground, everything is covered in buds - the signs of spring are everywhere.

Let's share our images of spring...

Lets see. I have pictures of mud ruts on the road due to the snow melting. The snow bank by my son's garage is down to only 10 feet tall now. I could snap a picture of that. Or I could walk out on the lake and get a nice sunset picture with the 3 feet of ice still on the lake in the foreground.

Or, maybe I will look at your pictures and contemplate Spring.

Two signs of Spring in my yard.

    First, a crocus.

And second, top down time on the Roadie.

I was hoping someone would post a crocus picture. We don't have any in our yard anymore and I miss them. Unfortunately there is no Z4 in our yard either. Looks like a fine way to spend a beautiful spring day!

    Default Skunk Cabbage

Love the picture of the skunk cabbage, Mark! Almost always the first thing in the wild I see wake up. The Red Wing Blackbirds have been here for a couple of weeks now. That's our sign. Another is: The ice is out of the pond.

Now I want to see the swallows. That's when we know the warm days are here.

We still have a ways to go before the ice is gone.
