Default Mt LeConte, Charlies Bunion, and the AT

Here is a link to some old shots I scanned of Mt LeConte, Charlies Bunion, and the Appalachian Trail in the Great Smoky Mountains. There is a good shot looking north on the AT where the trail is over 5000' for 30 miles.

Those are my very favorite places. As a matter of fact, I am going back to the Smokies for a week's visit next week. Hurray! My best hiking experiences ever have been exploring off-trail up the streams below the Bunion, the Jump-off, and LeConte, and climbing up to the A.T. from the Greenbrier.
