A friend wants us to do a climb on Mt. Washington in about 10 days. Not sure which trail he has in mind but says it will take about 3 hours of straight upward climbing and that we will need to camp out one night before heading back down. He says if we can't find a hut we can sleep outside without tents. I wonder if this makes sense. Should we have a tent if we are camping out somewhere on the Mountain?
