Glad you are finding our forums useful for information. Always glad to hear they are of some use.
Now, you might be too far south to see the conditions in person from day to day but there are plenty of ways to keep in touch with the conditions up here. The first is our weather page (http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/) weather observations are updated hourly, forecasts and climo daily and our weather wall (http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/conditions.php) every 15 minutes (but you have to hit refresh). Next up are the webcams (http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/cam/) which update you with pics every 15 minutes in the day time (and on fully moon nights). And our observer comments (http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/comments/) which we try to update daily. And if you are a member (http://www.mountwashington.org/accou...r%2Fobscast%2F), you get videos daily from our webcams and a video blog once a week (Mondays). Just some of the ways where you can stay connected even when your away. These are how my parents and friends in CA stay in touch with the conditons I am working and living in.
