It was 50 degrees here on the lake in the morning the past 2 days. We notice because we are waterskiing every morning.

Is there really any BAD weather???
I am watching my lakeside web camera and the clouds moving along and their reflections on the smooth lake are really nice this morning. 61 F and a bit warmer today.

I never want to see a day
That's over forty degrees
I'd rather have it thirty,
Twenty, ten, five and let it freeeeEEEEEEeeze!
My Seek the Peak 2013 Photo Set
Left Franconia Notch at about 2PM this afternoon at about 75 degrees and partly cloudy to arrive home to 92 degrees and dewpoints probably in the high 60's to low 70's.No wonder I love the Mountains sooo much. This weather stinks!!!!
Gotta' agree with that! After a perfect, crystal clear day hiking Saturday we camped Saturday night above Crawford Notch. Temps about 62 Saturday at 7pm, woke up to 37 and visible breath Sunday morning. Hiked in just my shorts Sunday. Came home to 90+ and 70 dewpoint today. I hate H+H.
Can't wait to hike in snow!

I agree with everything up to the end. Down with H+H and bring back the crisp days and cool (or even cold) nights. But please, lets have a little fall before the snow!
Edit: As I was posting this the thunderstorms started to roll in. Hopefully something cooler behind them... (as long as it isn't snow)

Hey, thanks for the heads up???????
Yesterday was pretty exciting, and at your post time, Northern Coos NH and Northern Oxford ME were in the thick of it. Bad. Raining Oodles of Poodles, nonstop thunder and frightening, high winds.
Tornado confirmed in Oxford Cty. Very Atypical terrain for a twister. No injuries or loss of life, but some significant property damage.
We are still wondering tonight if this is New England or the Louisiana Gulf Coast. I'm hearing boomers right now to the west and wondering how my family waterfront property on Frenchmans Bay in Hancock County ( ME) is going to fare tomorrow. It is hot, humid and not a breath of air. Swamp weather. Alligators of the corn, Unite.
" Bill" is in slingshot mode , his boundaries are well set between an Azores High and a persistent Bermuda High, enhanced and over arched by an upper level Canadian Clipper. Even though BILL IS well out on the rails to the east of us, we have this cold front coming down from Canada for next week that really wants to send Jim Cantore and The Weather Channel staff on vacation to St Vincent / Grenadines until Thanksgiving.
Laughing yet? I hope so.
