Loving the snow, although I'm inside and haven't been out to see how much we have! Changing over to rain right now : ( My job keeps getting in the way of having fun!
Snowed 4-5"s this morning, turned to rain turning the snow to snowblower choking slush. Kept raining invisible to radar. 40 degrees@ 7:30PM still raining. Thunder and lightning just rolled through.

We had one of the most unique snow events I've seen in my town. We received heavy snow after midnight and had 2-3" on the ground by 5am when it turned to rain. Plows were out in full force all night. Places in town less than a half mile away had no snow at all. These places were closer to the Sound, but not necessarily lower elevation than my house.
Outside of the mountains I have never seen such a distinct swing between full winter storm and rain storm over such a short distance.
I see 105 MPH wind on the summit with a -46 F wind chill now. A bit nippy out.
