Summit pics. and Marty

we were up on the summit on Tuesday the 28th and I shot a fe pictures while I was up there with my wife and daughter. It was a beautiful afternoon and we arrived on the summit about 4pm via the Auto Road. Here are a few pics.




While there I had the pleasure of petting Marty for a while. He was meowing and purring and kept rolling over back and fourth. He seems to be doing pretty good after the doctors visits.

Please feel free to grab any you can use Brad. It was a great afternoon up there and we did not want to leave. But when we were just below the summit taking pictures a man and a woman from New York came up to us and asked if there was any way I could give them a ride down and to PNVC. Of course I said yes and they looked exhausted and knew they could not make it to the Lakes hut. The van told them they could walk down the auto road that the last van was full. I was glad to help.

i would have done the same thing and before i would pay to go down in a auto road van i would ask some one that had room in there car first then offer them some $ for the ride

Wow Chris what great pictures,you were lucky to have such a clear day.We'll be headed up in a couple of weeks and hope we are lucky enough to have the same weather.Especially liked the pictures of Marty.He looks like he's back to his old self.I'm hoping to get to meet him and get some good shots of him too.Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic pics Chris. Tuesday was definitely the day to be on the summit. We were blessed with that day on the Bonds and it was incredible (TR soon). The Marty pics are awesome! Some of the best of him I've seen. Can't believe that he actually not only graced you with his presence but allowed petting and provided purring. You must be a real cat person Thanks for sharing!
