Summit pics. and Marty

Charlie they did offer to pay us something, but I refused. I would hope someone would help me if I ever needed it. They were very nice people and there twin 13 year olds were at some camp in Maine. They offered to buy us dinner if we were ever in New York.

Mark I have two black cats of my own. I was suprised also. He was sucking up all the petting and I believe my daughter got some shots of me petting him but I have not downloaded them yet.

Can't wait til the end of August for the last sunrise drive to the summit. Maybe this one will be clear.

Hi Chris, I'm pretty new to the forums but have been reading them for a long time.I actually don't live that far from you.We're in Dighton.I was wondering what camera of yours you used for those shots at the summit and of Marty?Can't wait to see the ones of him actually letting you pet him.You didn't happen to have any catnip in your pockets did you?(Hee!Hee!)

I used a Canon 5D Mark II with a 28-135 lens. I will have some up of me petting him as soon as I get a chance to download my daughters pics. She uses my older Canon Rebel. Oh yea no catnip

just an echo Chris on the photos of Marty and also your friendly attitude toward weary hikers. in the old days we would never hike a loop. We always hitched a ride back to the car. Rides were always appreciated!
