My Seek the Peak 2012 Photo Set
I've driven through that town many times on my weekly trips to MWO. It's interesting how little snow that region of NH gets. The mountains to the south and east provide a "rain" shadow during most nor'easters. The Extreme Weather book by Burt lists Monroe, just a few miles north of Bath as the driest location in the state. Average precip is 36". And only a few dozen miles from the wettest location of Mount Washington with over 100" of liquid.
I too really like the b/w. To me it brings out the wood grain and knots better. Nicely done.
