Hi all,

I have had a Davis Monitor II WX station for about 10 years. (see it http://home.comcast.net/~smdamelio here). Recently I have had trouble with the anemometer. It seems to stop recording in very wet (100% humidity) weather. So I took this as an excuse to upgrade to a Vantage Pro2.

Now my dilemma...

It appears the new unit has all the measuring equipment in one bundle. That means I can't seperate my anemometer from my temp sensor location. If I place it on my roof, I'm pretty sure it will show too high of a reading off the roofing material. But the sweet spot for my temp readings blocks the good wind.

I know this is a pretty popular unit and would be open to any solutions w/regard to location.
