    Default Animal droppings

Something's been leaving some "treasures" on the driveway over the past few weeks.

We have 2 deer that come through, but from what I found online, their scat is more like pellets.

Any idea what kind of critter this is coming from?

Yeah, I know, lovely conversation, but besides tracks, poo is the next best thing to figure out what kind of animals are lurking in the woods.

I was thinking black bear, but I'm not sure. Also, some of the piles look like they have little seeds in them.

I guess it's time to get a game camera setup in the yard

That would be cool. A critter cam, motion sensor triggered.

I have never seen any animals in my web camera images. but, my son has a nice shot of a deer by his house from a camera mounted on his garage.

A commonly identified object would be of great assistance as a frame of reference for scale purposes. Would it be possible to take another picture of you holding the doo-doo?

Yes, your hands would make a very good frame of reference.
