Flags on the 48 - Mt. Washington

I was fortunate enough to have seen the flag go up on Mt. Washington on 9/12. We had hiked from the Lake of the Clouds hut, which we stayed the previous night, to the summit (our first climb to 6288' mind you) and then down Jewel back to our car. I knew from the forums that TrishandAlex would be there putting the flag up, so I wanted to hang around and take some pictures of that. I tried to post on the FOT48 site but it seems my account has some issues, so I'll share them here. Enjoy!

Great pictures EDoubleu! I particularly like the ones with everyone helping to raise the flag. They remind me of the valiant effort of the troops back in World War II raising the flag on Iwo Jima. Thanks for sharing.
