I am getting in the car right now and will pass thru DC. I will stop and have a talk with Joe. He seems to need a good right-elbow man.

On a more serious vein, this morning and yesterday I went to Portland head Light to try to snag sunrise. Yesterday there was a bank of clouds over the ocean and the pictures were duds in my mind. Some interesting clouds, but no zip.

This morning it was warmer and less wind (16 MPH yesterday). Almost no clouds at all and the early morning light was really nice. A very different day.

Brad, what other lighthouses have you photographed?
One of my favorites is the Nubble Light near York, Maine.

I have not done many in Maine as I have not had the time to scout out shooting locations and work on the timing for good shots. I love the Breakwater Lighthouse up on Rockland. But, it is hard to do it justice. Two Lights down in Cape Elizabeth is nice, but I have not found an angle I like.

I have done several in NC and one cool one in St Augustine, FL. The NC lights are hard to get as they are just on sand dunes and in scrub.
